Traditional Bag Twining Workshop

Linda Sheehan will demonstrate beginning twining techniques for making a small storage bag. Twining uses knotted and woven cordage, traditionally made of locally-harvested plant fiber, to craft useful everyday belongings. The example pictured is dated to 2000 years old, from the Edens Bluff shelter site in Arkansas.

All materials provided and participation is free. This class is limited to 10 people - please message the Facebook event page to sign up and check availability. If there is strong interest, we can repeat this opportunity to learn together!

Location: Wantastegok Cultural Center, 350 Putney Rd (enter from Eaton Ave), Brattleboro, VT 05301 (parking onsite)
